Hebron school started in the year 1974 in rented premises by its founder Mrs. Ruth Jacob. Later on in 1984 it was shifted to its own premises it was then a Primary school, later on developed into a High school. The credibility of serving the community extends more than 50 yrs. Now we have the best of infrastructure with experienced staff pursuing excellence.
To pursue excellence in education for all members of the community by maintaining high standards in infrastructure, teaching quality, and holistic development, enabling students to confidently meet global challenges with strong moral values and discipline.
To provide an inclusive and caring learning environment that fosters strong academic foundations, encourages sports and extracurricular involvement, and supports lifelong learning through thoughtful and effective teaching methods.
Dr.G.Jacob hails from Guntur, where he did his B.A.Hons., from Andhra Christian College and came to Vizianagaram being appointed as Principal of Nellimarla Junior College in the year 1972. He got married to Mrs.Ruth Jacob, the Founder of the institution. He then served in many Government Colleges and then applied Voluntary Retirement in the year 1994. His immense knowledge and experience has been very valuable in the formation of Hebron School as a English Medium High School and its continuance as of today.
Mrs.Ruth Jacob was born in Guderale Estates in Kerala. She earned her graduation from Lady Doak College Madurai and did her Diploma in Physical Education in Chennai. She earned her Masters in Philosophy from Andhra University. She started the school in 1974 in a rented house and then shifted to it present premises in 1984. She then developed the primary school as High School. She then worked in Vishaka Women’s College as Lecturer in Physical Education and after retirement she became actively involved in school activities. She was an educationalist and contributed to women empowerment. She because of her compassionate heart has developed a system in Hebron school where orphans and poor children are educated freely and are given scholarship. She gave her very best for the development of the school. Her principles of administration is followed in Hebron school as of today.
Mrs. Joanna David was born and brought up in Maharashtra. After finishing her higher secondary studies in Mumbai, she earned her Masters degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. After her marriage with Rev. David Livingstone.D., she moved to Vizag. She then pursued her Masters of Divinity (extension course) for four years in 2001. She also was pursuing her Post graduate Diploma in Education Management. She took over as the Correspondent of Hebron School in the year 2023. Leading the institution with a vision, she had a high degree of inter personal and communication skills. With a commitment to serve the society, she worked towards the development of the school. Her passion and inspiration has led in developing the institution in academics, discipline and moral values.
